Miss Carter and some of the Bronze Ambassadors recently attended the North West Leicestershire Local Sports Alliance Sports and Health awards. We were invited to come and accept our Gold Kitemark award for our work during the 2017-2018 academic year. The School Games Mark is a government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. The kitemark consists of different areas such as; Competition (both within school and with other schools) Workforce (children having a say in the sports provision within school) Clubs (linking with the community) and Participation  (Trying to get as many children involved as possible). We are really proud of the work put in to achieve this award at school.
