  • PE Uniform

Children should come to school wearing their PE kit on PE days and on days when they attend active after-school clubs. Please check newsletters and Arbor messages for any updates to PE timetables.

    Our PE kit consists of:

    • Royal blue hoodie

    • Royal blue T-shirt

    • Navy blue joggers or leggings

    • Navy blue shorts (cycling shorts are not permitted)

    • Trainers or plimsolls

A personalised PE kit can be purchased from Liss Sport; however, branded items are not required.

    Important

There is no requirement for PE clothing to be branded. Items purchased from other retailers are perfectly acceptable, provided they are in the correct colours and have only minimal logos or branding.

    PE Expectations

    • Children may wear trainers to school on PE days.

    • All pupils should keep a spare pair of trainers or plimsolls in school.

    • Children in Key Stage 1 should also keep a change of clothes in school in case of accidents.

    Jewellery and PE

For health and safety reasons, jewellery should not be worn during PE lessons.

If your child has pierced ears, we recommend arranging ear piercing at the start of the summer holidays so that earrings can be removed independently by September.

Where earrings cannot be removed, parents should provide tape or plasters for children to cover their studs during PE lessons.

    Swimming

Pupils must wear swimming hat for swimming.

Girls should wear a one-piece costume.

Boys should change into trunks, not shorts.

Googles may only be worn where there is medical need - please complete the form below and return this to the office.
