Newton Burgoland Primary School

Together We Can Achieve Excellence

We promise you:

  • Compassion

  • Excellence

  • Accountability

  • Respect

Small classes, amazing learners, dedicated teachers. A truly outstanding school in the heart of the country.

The best school in the Milky-Way!

To be a learner at Newton Burgoland Primary School is to thrive and excel. Reading takes centre stage because we know that reading for pleasure determines future success. The wider curriculum is rich and exciting, carefully designed and tailored to meet individual needs. Learners move seamlessly from their nurseries and pre-schools - continuing to enjoy forest schools and outdoor learning from foundation to year 6.

The school ethos is one of unconditional positive regard for all with a focus on building long-lasting, and positive relationships within, and beyond our school gates. We have built our school around the children and families that we serve.

Our pupils are all successful learners; they have strong learning habits and are proud to belong Newton Burgoland Primary School. I am privileged to be their Headteacher.

Welcome to Newton Burgoland Primary School.

A school where ANY young person from ANY background deserves an EQUAL chance to be successful in whatever they choose to do.

We are Noticeably Newton!

  • In Art, Class 3 have been looking into sculptures. We decided to sculpt a bird nest inspired by the artists we looked at in our lessons. We first headed down to the forest to collect a range of natural resources to use for our sculptures and then got to work. ️ https://t.co/VGSNpoAwRW

  • In Science, Class 3 enjoyed dissecting flowers. We had to identify the different parts of a flower and then predict what their job is. We then went on to learn about the parts role in pollination and fertilisation. https://t.co/wW8QCihYVn
