Update 16/10/25

Dear Parents,

Thank you so much for your kind donations to the foodbank and for joining us to celebrate Harvest today. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Many thanks to all of our classes for their hard work and enthusiasm.

We received the following comments during our Open Morning:
• Lovely seeing all the work! Very well-mannered children! Amazing school – best so far!
• Love the open mornings and seeing their work.
• My daughter loves school and is very happy here.
• As always it was really lovely to see the boys work.
• Thank you for the opportunity to see what the kids do. It’s always nice to understand more about their world.
• Happy with how they are getting on, nice to see their work
• Good to see progress, well done! It’s nice to see some work.
• The classroom is beautiful and all the children are happy and engaged in the activities.
• I couldn’t be happier that my son is at this school.

You’ve asked us to look at Communication – could we have more contact – Dojo/Tapestry to see what they are doing?
We have chosen not to communicate via Dojo as other schools have reported problems with the system which disrupt learning. This year for Class 1 we have chosen to communicate via a weekly newsletter so that the school adults can spend more time with the children, focussing on learning. I would be happy to meet, to discuss the information you feel you would like in addition to the weekly update and website information.

We’d also like to say a big thank you to:
• The PFA for organising a fantastic Autumn Disco
• Everyone who supports our Forest School sessions
• Those who help with Cross Country events
• All our staff and governors for their hard work this term
Your continued support makes a real difference to our school community.

School Meals
We will be moving to a new provider in December. More information will follow after the break. Mrs Jackson, Mr Ikin, Sarah, Wilf and Edie Dawson will be attending a roadshow this evening to taste test.
Have a super half term.

Kind Regards,
Sue Ward
