Welcome to our Weekly Updates page. Here you will find the latest news, reminders and celebrations from across the school, helping families stay connected with everything that is happening at Newton Burgoland Primary School.

Each week we share highlights from classrooms, upcoming events, important notices and achievements from our pupils. These updates provide a snapshot of school life and celebrate the wonderful learning experiences taking place throughout the week.

9/10/26

It was lovely to see so many of you at Parents' Evening this week and to witness how proud the children were to share their work. Thank you for taking the time to come along and celebrate their achievements with us.

Half-term is fast approaching, and school will close after school on Thursday 15th October for a well-earned break before we return for an exciting half-term full of festivals and celebrations.

Next week promises to be another busy one:

• Classes 3 and 4 will be enjoying science workshops at Rosliston - Please wear school uniform and a warm coat, you will need a packed lunch.
• Key Stage 1 parents are invited to lunch on Monday
• Our Harvest Assembly will take place at 9:00am on Thursday.

Please bring your harvest donations on the day so that the children can present them at the beginning of the assembly. You are very welcome to join us, and we look forward to seeing many of you there.

Thank you for your continued support. Have a lovely weekend.
