We will be participating in the Orchestra Unwrapped Concert in April 2023.

The opportunity to learn outside the classroom and the links between classwork and the visit have had a huge impact on pupil's musical literacy and their appreciation of different styles of performance. All our pupils learn to play a variety of tuned and untuned percussion. Most pupils choose to take extra music lessons in guitar, brass, violin or keyboard.

After our trip we looked at the music of Mussorgsky and the picture 'Catacombs' by Viktor Hartmann. We worked brilliantly in groups to create and record our ideas about the painting.
