Respect and Tradition
Learners are taught to respect one another, to respect all adults and to respect themselves. Our school assemblies focus on the importance of making good choices. Bible stories, the lives of inspiring people and current events help us to understand the nature of choice and the consequences of our decisions. Our partnership with Leicestershire county council and ongoing work to achieve the gold standard for anti-bullying work supports learners to understand the importance of respect for all.
We are members of NATRE. This year we are looking forward to the religion roadshow in the summer term- provide by the St Philips Centre in Leicester which will help us to further understand and respect the traditions of other cultures and religions.
Respect, leadership, kindness and care are rewarded in our Friday celebration assembly.
In 2011 Ofsted rated our behaviour as outstanding. We take great pride in this accolade.
"The school is an outstandingly harmonious environment."
"In all lessons behaviour was outstanding."
